We are Andy and Tess Dent, husband-and-wife owners of Ultimate Villa Town Home.
Andy grew up in England before immigrating to North America in 1991, first to Canada for a spell, and has resided in the US for the past 14 years.
Tess grew up in the Philippines before immigrating to Canada in 1987 and then to Florida in 1996. Tess takes great pride in our own South Florida home and equally in our Terra Verde property, and has a passion for organization, neatness and cleanliness.
Between the two of us with our diverse backgrounds, we are able to relate well to our guests who also come from many different nationalities.
We are full time Florida residents ourselves, and have been for the past 12 years. If you are contemplating booking your accommodation with us, you can take much comfort in this fact alone.
In contrast, the majority of vacation homes in the Orlando area are owned by "absentee owners" and investors, including many who live overseas. Obviously such owners find it difficult to maintain much (if any) personal oversight of their properties, often trusting them entirely to property management companies. However good the property management company may be (ours is great but many of companies operting in the area range from mediocre to terrible), there is no substitute for frequent personal involvement of the property owners in the upkeep of their property.
Although we don't live on the doorstep of Terra Verde (we live in South Florida), we do make frequent trips to Terra Verde approximately every 2 months, often for several days at a time. We have a great deal of involvement in the upkeep and maintenance of our property, and devote a lot of personal time to deep cleaning, and adding personal touches. We like to think that it shows, especially in the details. In addition, we use a trusted, dedicated and competent on-site management company for cleaning, maintenance, inspections and any guest issues that may arise. Our management company's office is located on-site, right inside Terra Verde's clubhouse and staff are accessible to guests 6 days a week with on-call coverage during non-office hours. We feel we have an optimum blend of personal property oversight, complemented by professional service providers, that results in our guests being pleased with their choice to book with us.
We are a Christian family and believe in operating with honesty and integrity in all our dealings with our renters. We keep careful paper records of every booking we take, including a checklist to track that everything is done at the right time, whether it is mailing out information to you, scheduling cleaning, or refunding your security deposit in a timely fashion without needing to be chased for it. This ensures that your rental experience will go smoothly and without anxiety on your part. You will have access to our personal phone numbers, home address and email so that you can contact us at any time during the planning of your trip or during your actual stay.
